Visiting Chairman of the Shoura Council Dr. Saleh Abdullah bin Homaid received at his residence here today Chairman of Turkish Grand National Assembly (Turkish Parliamentary) Koksal Toptan. The meeting came on the sidelines of the emergency extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Union of the Councils and the Parliaments of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC)'s member states, hosted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly of Istanbul, to discuss a united Islamic parliamentary stance towards the brutal Israeli violations and aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian territories. During the meeting, a number of issues and topics of common interest to both countries in all various fields, especially the Saudi - Turkish parliamentary relations were discussed.
