Presided over by its chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held here today its 65th ordinary session. The session was attended by Prince Miqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence, and a number of the officials of the General Intelligence for holding a general discussion with Prince Miqrin and to inquire about the general dimensions and strategies on various issues and topics concerning the General Intelligence. The Shoura Council chairman welcomed Prince Miqrin and the accompanying delegation and stated that the kingdom's foreign policy is based on the principles of good neighborliness; non-interference in other countries' internal affairs; bolstering relations with other countries and playing an effective role within the framework of the regional and international organizations. Prince Miqrin stressed the importance of defending this homeland and achieving security and protection for its citizens. He highlighted the good level of cooperation with various agencies and underlined the importance of cooperation to realize the public interest of this homeland and people. The Shoura Council discussed issues on its agenda and decided to continue their discussion in future sessions.
