Emergency daily deliveries of gas from Hungary to Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have been suspended, DPA quoted Hungary's gas distributor FGSZ as saying on Monday. FGSZ director, Janos Zsuga, said in a statement that the delivery of 2.7 and 1.5 million cubic metres of gas to Serbia and Bosnia- Herzegovina respectively has been suspended until confirmation of delivery is received from Austria. As soon as this confirmation is received, delivery would resume, Zsuga said. Hungary had 66 million cubic metres of gas at its disposal for Monday: 53 million from sizeable underground stores, 9 million from domestic production, and 4 million imported via Austria. FGSZ estimated Hungary's gas consumption for Monday at 63 to 66 million cubic metres. Since Tuesday there has been no delivery of gas from Ukraine as the dispute with Russia over pricing continued. Hungary's "level one" restrictions, on industrial consumers of over 2,500 cubic metres of gas per hour, were still in place on Monday.
