Technological conference opened

Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Labor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Technical and Vocational Training Dr. Ghazi Alqusaibi, opened here today the 5th Saudi Technological Conference and Exhibition organized by the Authority in Riyadh for 4 days.
A speech by the king was delivered by Dr. Ghazi Alqusaibi on behalf of the king. The speech highlighted the importance of providing youths with the skills of work to succeed in the labor market.
The king's speech stated that the more than SR120,000 million was allocated in this year's budget to education and training. The speech underlined the state's support for the projects of the General Authority of Technical and Vocational Training.
In the speech, the king hoped that the conference will achieve effective results contributing to the development of the training sector.
The king urged Saudi businessmen to give absolute priority to the employment and training of Saudis.
