Solana visits Turkey on a mission on Gaza

Havier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy headed for Ankara today on a brief official visit to Turkey.
A source in Solana's Office in Brussels said that the European Official will meet with the Turkish President Abdullah Gul and the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara to explore the European-Turkish joint efforts that could be done to contain the dangerous situation in Gaza and reach at a ceasefire.
