Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina Fahd bin Abdulmohsen Al-Zaid met here yesterday with High Representative and Special Envoy of the European Union for Bosnia- Herzegovina Miroslav Lajcak. During the meeting, Al-Zaid handed over a check to Lajcak representing the Kingdom's contribution to the budget of the Office of the High Representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina for the fiscal year 2008/2009. They also discussed the political situation in Bosnia- Herzegovina, particularly reforms and efforts made by the High Representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina in order to enhance central authority in Bosnia- Herzegovina. Al-Zaid briefed the High Representative on the tragic situation in Gaza Strip as well as the Arab and international efforts to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza. Also, the Saudi Ambassador met here yesterday with Chief of Islamic Scholars, Grand Mufti of Bosnia- Herzegovina, Mustafa Tseric. During the meeting, the Mufti thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Saudi Government and people for their support extended to Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovina and other Islamic countries. He also thanked the Ambassador for his efforts to serve Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
