The GCC Finance And Economy ministers held here today a meeting under the chairmanship of Ahmad bin Abdel-Nabi Makki, the Omani minister of national economy. The Omani news agency reported that the meeting which comes on the fringe of the 29th summit of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, aims at coordination of stands and views on issues due to be discussed at the Arab Economic Development Summit, which will be held in Kuwait on Jan 19-20, 2009. They will also review the world financial situation. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
