The foreign ministers of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council concluded this evening the meeting of the Ministerial Council to prepare for the summit of the leaders of the GCC countries which will be held here tomorrow. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Saud Alfaisal, the Foreign Minister. In a press statement following the meeting, the Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawai bin Abdullah spoke on the developments in Gaza stressing the GCC countries' support for the Palestinian people. Responding to a question by Saudi Press Agency on whether the agenda of the summit was amended due to the developments in Gaza, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdulrahman Ala'teyah said, "The agenda was set previously but there is great concern by the GCC for the developments in the Palestinian territories."
