Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), left here today wrapping up an official visit to Tunisia during which he attended the four-day International Oasis Festival in the Southern Tunisian town of Tozeur. At the airport, he was seen off by a number of officials. In a departure statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he stated that the Janadriya National Festival for Heritage and Culture being held in Saudi Arabia each year contributed to conserving the Saudi national heritage. He added that the festival came to integrate the Saudi national heritage with current development and advancement in the Kingdom. Prince Sultan bin Salman described the visit as an exploratory one, giving chance to get-acquainted to the experience of Tunisia in desert tourism and its associated activities which are extremely important to the Kingdom.
