Prince Abdul-Rahman bin Abdul-Aziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received here today senior armed forces officers who came to greet and congratulate him on Eid Aladha and the success of this year's Hajj season. Prince Abdul-Rahman addressed the officers on this occasion saying that "Participation in hajj season service makes a Muslim energetic since he feels God's blessing which allowed him to serve his fraternal pilgrims with positive action and feedback." Prince Abdul-Rahman added, "When the armed forces actually participate in the Hajj season along with Pubic Security forces, the forces of the National Guard, the staff of the Ministry of Hajj, the staff of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance and other public service officers who were assigned by the State to contribute to the service of pilgrims led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who conducted day and night overseeing, we feel and realize that the name of King Abdul-Aziz stands behind all the good work founded by him. May God have mercy on him." "By virtue of these magnificent joined forces, God facilitated the performance of the rituals of more than two and a half million Muslim pilgrims. May God accept their Pilgrimage," Prince Abdul-Rahman said. "A duty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been fulfilled proudly for the sake of God by helping every Muslim to perform his religious duty at the place where the holy shrines of Hajj are located," Prince Abdul-Rahman said. Prince Abdul-Rahman said that the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are obliged to adhere to Islam and should thank God for placing the holy sites in their county.
