Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held here today a meeting with Uruguay's President Tabare Vazquez. At the beginning of the meeting, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the President, wishing him a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On his part, the President thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the good reception and generous hospitality. During the meeting, they discussed the overall developments at the regional and international arenas in addition to ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in all fields. The meeting was attended by Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, Head of Arab Gulf Program for Supporting United Nations Development Organizations; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Assistant Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Interior Minister for Security Affairs; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the King; Dr. Fahd Balghnaim, Minister of Agriculture and the Accompanying Minister; and Issam Abed Al-Thagafi, Saudi Ambassador to Argentina and non-resident Ambassador to Uruguay and Chile. The meeting was also attended by Uruguay's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gonzalo Fernandez, Minister of Economy and Finance Alvaro Garcia, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fishing Ernesto Agazzi and Uruguayan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Rodo Lvo Avernezi.
