The Lebanese Almanar University celebrated today in the city of Tripoli the laying of the foundation stone of the Building of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The ceremony was attended by Former Lebanese Premier and Head of the Council of Trustees of Almanar University Omar Karami, Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Abdulaziz Khojah, and other officials. President of Almanar University Dr. Sami Manqarah delivered a speech highlighting the king's care for knowledge and education and Saudi support for Lebanon. The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon also delivered a speech in which he explained that the king provided a grant for this building of the university and directed the ambassador to represent him in the ceremony and convey his greetings to the people of the city and region. The ambassador highlighted the king's support for education and Lebanon. President Karami also delivered a speech highlighting the king's support for Lebanon and thanking him for his donation for constructing the building which consists of four floors and 24 educational halls.
