Arab Education Ministers hold conference

Arab Education Ministers held a working session within the 19th conference of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) here today.
Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Obeid, Saudi Minister of Education, led his country's delegation to the meeting.
The conference discussed ways of cooperation and joint Arab action in the fields of education, culture and science.
During the meeting, Tunisian candidate Dr. Mohammed Al-Aziz bin Ashoor was elected Director General of ALECSO for the coming period, replacing Dr. Al-Minje Busnainah who headed the organization for the last eight years.
