Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Society (SRCS), received here today Sudanese Ambassador-Designate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdulhafiz Ibrahim Mohammed. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest and ways of enhancing relations between the two brotherly countries. The Sudanese Ambassador submitted an official invitation from Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir to Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to visit Sudan. Prince Faisal welcomed this invitation, saying that he will visit Sudan in the near future. They also discussed the humanitarian situation in Darfur, particularly the utilization of natural resources available in Sudan to reduce the damages inflicted on the population of Darfur as a result of internal conflicts.
