A rockslide occurred as a result of a cut in one of the rocks near one of the houses in Alghassalah neighborhood in Makkah leading to the death of one of the building's occupants, a Bangladeshi national, and injury of another, a Yemeni national. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, a Civil Defense spokesman said the house's occupants were evacuated. 150 persons were also evacuated from a nearby apartment building as a precaution for safety.
