Spain's maritime rescue agency said three fishermen died and five are missing after a trawler sank off the country's northwest tip, AP reported. An agency official said a rescue helicopter saved the other five crew members of the Portuguese-flagged vessel that went down in waters with 17-20 foot (5-6 meter) waves early Friday. The trawler sent out a distress signal when it was 24 nautical miles north of Burela in the Galicia region. A plane, two helicopters and two ships are searching for the missing sailors. The bodies of the sailors who drowned were found snagged in the trawler's nets.
