In Chechnya, three people were killed overnight when several armed men invaded a house and shot the residents, then set the house on fire, the Chechen Interior Ministry said Thursday. An overnight car bombing outside an apartment building killed one person in the Dagestani town of Khasavyurt, bordering Chechnya, according to police. A former policeman was shot to death Thursday by attackers in a passing car in Nazran, the main city of Ingushetia, which also borders Chechnya, police said.
