Seven people were killed after a fire broke out in an apartment building for elderly people in east China's Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, early Wednesday morning, according to Xinhua. All of the fatalities were seniors with disabilities, including five men and two women, said Wu Jian, head of city's fire brigade. "Their bodies were found in the same apartment on the second floor of the two-story building, where the fire broke out at 1:35 a.m.," said Wu. "It's such a tragedy as they were too old to escape." There were no other injuries in the fire, since it did not spread to other rooms before it was controlled ten minutes later, he said. No one will have to be relocated as damage was contained to one apartment.
