Abbas, the advisor at the Hajj ministry, said the organization of the seminar proves the keenness of the Saudi officials on clarifying the concepts of Islam. He pointed out that the 3-day seminar includes ten working sessions on issues pertaining to the rituals of Hajj including perambulation around the Holy Kaaba as well as ability to perform Hajj rituals. Dr Al-Abbas said the seminar includes two lectures, one of them to be delivered by Dr Abdel-Wahab Abu Suleiman, the member of the commission of the senior Ulema (Islamic Scholars), on the Holy Places notably al-Mas'a, while the other lectured to be delivered by undersecretary of the ministry of municipal and rural affairs Dr Habib Zein-al-Abdeen on the efforts of the Kingdom for the development of the Holy Places. On the other hand, the minister of Hajj underlined the importance of shedding light on the concepts of ability for performing Hajj taking into account the increasing numbers of pilgrims, and their various languages and habits. The minister highlighted the Kingdom's role in facilitating performance of the Hajj rituals and ensuring the security and safety of the pilgrims so as to enable them performs their rituals in comfort and ease. The participants of the seminar reviewed performance of Hajj rituals by women and sick and old people and persons who are with special needs and other related topics.
