Authorities said three Orlando, Fla., residents died when an Amtrak train hit a car that was driving across the tracks, UPI reported. The train's conductor said he saw the railroad crossing arms drop and the 1994 Buick drive under them Friday night, WFTV, Orlando, reported Saturday. Investigators said the speedometer of the car after the crash was stuck at 55 mph on a road with a 40 mph limit. The train, traveling from Miami to New York with 167 passengers, suffered minor damage and was able to resume its trip when the accident scene was cleared, deputies said.
