Arab Ministers of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, members of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) has completed their meeting at the end of the 81st session in Cairo. They unanimously endorsed the Egyptian proposal for the preparation of a comprehensive study on the joint coordination procedures between the Arab countries to confront the implications of the global financial crisis on the oil and gas industry, petrochemical and how to achieve Arab integration in the joint Arab industries to be submitted to the Arab League in preparation for presentation to the leaders of Arab countries in the upcoming economic summit meeting in Kuwait to take place in January next year. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was headed by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi.
