President George W. Bush said Iraq's parliament has taken a major step toward democracy by approving an agreement to let U.S. troops stay in the country for three more years, AP reported. The president also is praising a separate accord establishing a long-term relationship between the two countries. The agreements still must be approved by Iraq's Presidency Council.
