Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and leader of the Saudi delegation to talks with the French side, had a meeting here today with Jean-Pierre Escalettes, President of the French soccer federation. During the meeting, which was attended by the two sides' official delegations, a number of issues relating to joint cooperation between the two federations were discussed. For his part, Prince Nawaf thanked the French side for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation, noting that the meeting discussed the general framework of the memorandum of understanding and joint cooperation with the French Soccer Federation. Following the signing ceremony, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal gave an account on the contents of the memorandum, which, he said, covers equestrian, volley ball, anti-doping, programs for people with special needs, marketing and communications, finance and investment in Olympic fields, using sports facilities, refereeing exchanges, and camps. In the name of Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the President of Youth Welfare, Prince Nawaf extended an invitation to Jean-Pierre Escalettes to visit the Kingdom.
