Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council Abdulrahman Ala'teyah called for ending the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip and demanded that the international community shoulder its political and moral responsibilities toward the Palestinian people and force the Israeli occupation to abide by the resolutions of the international legitimacy, the Arab peace initiative and the road map plan to establish the Palestinian state with East Alquds as its capital and to stop challenging the international community and undermining the peace efforts. In a statement today, Ala'teyah strongly condemned the continued attacks and brutal practices committed by the Israeli occupation forces every day against the Palestinian people and called on the Palestinian people to unite.
