At least one person was killed and five were missing after a landslide in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Sunday, Xinhua reported. The landslide occurred at around 11:35 a.m. in the Fengshan county of Hechi city in northern Guangxi, when some 40,000 to 50,000 cubic meters of rock and soil buried more than 300 meters of road. Six buildings and 19 houses were destroyed. A man was found dead after the accident, who was later identified as a local resident. At least five people, residents and passers-by, were reported as missing. Six injured others were rushed to local hospitals, among whom two are in serious condition. Rescuers are trying to locate the missing and make out the exact number of people buried in rubble. The cause of the accident is unknown yet.
