The Secretary-General of the Cairo-based Arab League Amr Moussa said that the UN's high-level meeting on culture of peace which is being held in New York today is the proper way to respond to claims by opponents of stability, coexistence and peace who call for collision of civilizations and sow the seeds of tension between the West and Islam. In a statement, he commended the initiative of dialogue among followers of religions, sponsored and supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, pointing out that the whole world should pay tribute to this initiative as it honors human dignity wherever he was, regardless of religion or belief and its call that the constructive way for human rapprochement is dialogue and understanding for the good of the entire humanity.
