Saudi ambassador to Algeria Dr Sami al-Salih met here today Algerian minister of higher education and scientific research Dr Rasheed Harabiah. Following the meeting al-Salih said the meeting aimed at the activation of bilateral relations in the various domains. In a statement to SPA, he said his talks focused on means for enhancing cooperation between the educational institutions in the two countries as well as exchange of scientific delegations and participation in the forums to be organized by the two countries. The ambassador said the two parties have agreed on the activation of the memorandum of scientific and educational cooperation betweens the Saudi and Algerian higher education ministries. The ambassador noted that he has briefed the Algerian side on the great attention being given by the Saudi government to the educational sector and scientific research. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
