STC offers discounts on international calls

The Saudi Telecommunication Company STC today announced new discounts on international calls for its clients, charging only the first five minutes of each call to any country of the world and at any time.
In a statement, STC said users of its mobile or pre-paid credit cards of SAWA and LANA could make free domestic calls within the company's network or make free international calls to any recipient in the world after the fifth minute of each call.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, an official source of STC said that this offer goes into force from the 2nd of November 2008 and lasts for one month.
In addition to mobile phones, the offer also covers international calls on fixed telephone landlines as domestic calls were already free of charge on Jood and Jood + packages.
