Minister of Transport of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraiseri who led his country's delegation to the Arab Transport Ministers 21st meeting described the meeting as successful and fruitful, noting that a number of important issues on its agenda were discussed. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the meeting which was held in the Egyptian city of Port Saeed today, the minister said the most important issue raised and discussed during the meeting was the Arab railway link, the explanatory document of which will be forwarded to the Arab Economic summit scheduled for Kuwait in January 2009. Al-Suraiseri is also scheduled to address the Arab Transport Forum in Cairo tomorrow to brief the high-ranking listeners on Saudi Arabia's plans to further develop its transport sector.
