A Cambodian army official says a gunfight that broke out between Thai and Cambodian troops at the border has stopped and talks were underway. Cambodian army commander Brig. Gen. Yim Pim told The Associated Press the fighting «has paused.» He said commanders from both sides were trying to negotiate a cease-fire. There were no casualties on the Cambodian side after the Wednesday gunfight between troops at a disputed border zone.
