Saudi embassy here held today a reception party on the occasion of the Kingdom's national day. The reception party was attended by a number of senior officials at the Swedish foreign ministry and parliament as well as the accredited ambassadors and Saudi students on scholarships in Sweden. Speaking on the occasion, Saudi ambassador to Sweden Dr Abdurrahman al-Jidei said on this day Late King Abdulaziz had successfully unified the country on the basis of the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah (teachings). He lauded the Kingdom's efforts for the service of the mankind and for enhancing the pillars of security, stability and peace at the regional and international arenas.
