Abul-Ghait arrives in Baghdad

Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Abul-Ghait arrived here today on an official visit to Iraq. It is the first official visit to Iraq by a high-ranking Egyptian official after the invasion of the country in March 2003.
The Iraqi satellite station said the Egyptian minister of energy and electricity is accompanying Abul-Ghait during his unannounced visit to Iraq.
The two Egyptian ministers are expected to hold talks with the Iraqi officials on issues of mutual interest.
