20 injured by turbulence on China Airlines flight

At least 20 people have been
injured after a China Airlines flight from Hong Kong to
Bangkok encountered turbulence.
Bangkok's Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital spokeswoman
Panjama Jadjen said 20 people were taken to several
hospitals in the Thai capital after Flight CI-641 arrived
at Suvarnabhumi Airport at about 1:30 p.m. (0630 GMT) on
Thursday.
She said most of those hurt had only bruises and no one
was seriously injured. She could not give the nationalities
of the injured.
China Airlines and a spokesman for the airport said that
the injured included several crew members, Associated Press reported.
