Saudi Ambassador to Algeria, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh commended Saudi student Bakhti Ahmed Mohammed Qurashi for winning International Prize for Memorization of the Holy Quran organized by Algeria in the holy month of Ramadan. In a statement tonight to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ambassador said that the handing over of the prize yesterday to Qurashi by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika in presence of Algerian ministers and ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries is an honor to the Kingdom. He pointed out that winning the first position in the contest is a product of the good efforts of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in teaching and memorizing the Holy Quran by generations and disseminating its teachings in the Saudi society. Dr. Al-Saleh commended the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
