London police said they had launched a murder inquiry after a 19-year-old man died from stab wounds - the 27th teenage victim of violence in the capital this year, Reuters reported. The victim, named as Craig Marshall, went into Acton police station on Thursday night after being stabbed. He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead on Friday morning. A post mortem will be held to determine the exact cause of death. Detectives said it was believed he had been attacked outside a tower block in Acton. Two men, aged 20 and 21, have been arrested and are being questioned at a west London police station. Marshall is the 27th teenager to die violently on London's streets so far this year, with most the victims of stabbings. The deaths have prompted calls for greater action against knife crime while police have launched a major crackdown to try and catch those carrying weapons.
