A suicide bomber targeted Afghan troops in the eastern province of Khost on Friday, killing two civilians and two policemen, Reuters quoted a provincial official as saying. "Four people including two civilians have been killed and several others wounded," said Mohammad Yousuf Zadran, district chief of Zazi Maidan where the attack took place. Meanwhile, 20 insurgents were killed and several wounded in a clash with men from the U.S. security firm USPI in the southern province of Kandahar, a provincial official said. The insurgents ambushed a USPI convoy carrying supplies for foreign troops in the province's Zhari district and 20 of them were killed when the security men fought back, said the provincial governor's spokesman, Zulmai Ayubi. There were no casualties among the security men, he said.
