South Africa's finance minister resigns

South Africa's
presidential spokesman says Finance Minister Trevor Manuel
has resigned along with his deputy.
Presidential spokesman Mukoni Rachitanga confirmed that
Manuel is among five Cabinet ministers and three deputy
ministers who resigned Tuesday. Also quitting is Deputy
President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, the Associated Press reported.
