Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah al-Turki has highlighted the significance of Naif bin Abdulaziz al-Saud International Prize for the Prophet's Sunnah and contemporary Islamic studies. He lauded the efforts being exerted by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz in the service of the Prophet's Sunnah and Islamic studies through the prize. He noted that the prize's cultural activities and seminars have been positively contributing to the spreading of knowledge and awareness. Dr al-Turki said the prize's programs have projected the significance of the Prophet's Sunnah as well as the values of Islam and its concepts for security, peace, justice and cooperation. Meanwhile, Dr Abdulaziz al-Tuweijiri, the director general of the Islamic educational, scientific and cultural organization (ISESCO), said the prize is one of the prestigious prizes in the entire Muslim world. He noted that the prize has positively contributed to the service of the Islamic culture and development of the Islamic thought. Moreover, he said the prize encourages researches and studies in the Islamic field.
