Fighting kills 21 rebels in Sri Lanka

Fighting between government
forces and separatist Tamil Tigers across Sri Lanka's
embattled northern region killed 21 rebels, the military
said Sunday.
The latest fighting took place Saturday along the front
lines in Vavuniya, Kilinochchi and Welioya regions, military spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
