Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohyeddin Khoja, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, made a telephone call today to Lebanon's Minister of Youth and Sports Talal Arsalan, expressing condolences and sympathies on the death of Salih Al-Aridhi, member of the Political Bureau of the Lebanese Democratic Party who was recently slain in a car bomb attack in the town of Baysour in Jabal Lebnan (mount of Lebanon). The Ambassador made similar telephone calls to the President of the Lebanese Democratic Gathering and Parliament member Waleed Jumblatt; the Minister of Public Works and Transport Ghazi Al-Aridhi and the father of the deceased Sheikh Farhan Al-Aridhi. During the calls, the Ambassador condemned the explosion crime targeting Salih Al-Aridhi, a Lebanese political leader, and suggested that this criminal act is an attempt for destabilization and foiling of the march of dialogue and reconciliation among the Lebanese people. The Ambassador also reaffirmed the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the sisterly country of Lebanon and its people, including all its groups.
