A Mexican gas pipeline caught on fire on Friday near the capital, sending flames more than 100 feet into the air and closing a main highway into the city, Reuters quoted Mexico radio as reporting. One person was injured at the fire in the satellite town of Cuautitlan Izcalli, the Formato 21 radio station said. The cause of the fire was not known. State energy company Pemex said a private company operated the line.
