China landslide kills 128
BEIJING Published in Saudi Press Agency on 10 - 09 - 2008

State broadcaster China Central Television
says the death toll from a landslide in Shanxi province has
risen to 128.
Hope was fading for finding anyone alive two days after
the flow of mud, sludge and mining waste plowed into
buildings in a valley. Thirty-five people were injured.
CCTV said the rescue work was continuing Wednesday.
