promotional allowance of new universities: To encourage work at new universities, staff members are paid a promotional monthly allowance ranging from 20 to 40 percent of their basic salary, first grade. 4-Meetings allowances: Allowances for attending meetings will be as follows: SR 400 for each meeting for members of the College Council. The maximum will not exceed SR 10,000 a year. SR 300 for the meeting of the members of the Department Council. The maximum will not exceed SR 9000 a year. 5- distinction allowance: Allowance for distinction of 10 percent of the basic salary, first grade, for those who have won a local prize, 20 percent for those who have won regional prize, 30 percent for those who have won international prize, and 40 percent for those who have won a patent on an invention.
