Arab Economic and Social Council held here today its 82nd session under the chairmanship of Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al- Assaf, the head of the delegation of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the session, and with the participation of 12 ministers of finance and economy of Arab states. In his inaugural speech, Dr. Al-Assaf said that the joint Arab economic cooperation has achieved good results over the past decade, noting that inter-Arab trade reached 10.5 percent of Arab total trade at the end of 2006 while Arab investments increased to U.S.18 billion in the same year.
