King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran distributed a total of 1,034,847 Noble Quran copies of various versions during the Month of Rajab corresponding to the Month of July 2008. A statement released today by the Complex said the distributed copies of the Noble Quran benefited a number of governmental bodies, and non-governmental as well as charitable organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. The statement disclosed that the distribution involved 68,351 copies of the translation of the meaning of the Noble Quran in 32 different languages including Chinese, Hausa, Turkish, Urdu, English, Indonesian, Kazakh, Uighurs, Somali, Bosnian, Albanian, Tamil, Brahui, Malabari, Spanish, Korean, Persian, Greek, Yoruba, Macedonian, Zulu, Kashmiri, French, Maninka, Burmese, Thai, Iranon, Chichewa, German, Russian and Mandarin. The Complex also distributed 10,141 copies of diverse Islamic books and 3,068 cassettes. It is noteworthy that the total printings and distribution from the beginning of the Complex's distribution process on 23rd of the month of Jamad Al-owla, 1405 (1985) until the end of last month amounted to 216,012,575 copies of the Noble Quran.
