India will sign an agreement with Morocco for enhancing cooperation in the field of marine fisheries, Morocco Newsline reported today. It said the Indian cabinet approved recently a proposal in this regard. The report quoted Indian Information and Broadcasting minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi as saying that India will sign an agreement with Morocco for enhancing cooperation in the field of marine fisheries. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in training, technical and scientific research in marine fisheries and fish process industry fields, he said. It also stresses maritime training for the staff through common programmes.
