An Algerian expert has been freed on Wednesday following tribesmen abducted him last Tuesday in south-eastern Yemen to press authorities to free three jailed fellow clansmen, Saba reported. Commander of security department in Shabwa province Hamoud al-Harthy said that security services freed the Algerian expert Yassin Yaboz, 46, who is working for a giant gas exporting project in Balhaf area of Shabwa province. Al-Harthy said to the state-run 26sep.net that Babarz and two Yemeni drivers were subjected to abduction by the lawless tribesmen in Shabwa. Denying that the expert was a French, al-Harthy affirmed the security forces would chase the kidnappers to arrest them and bring them to justice.
