Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate, recruited 313 Omanis in different fields of operation during the first seven months of this year, bringing the number of Omani staff in the company to 2,470, according to Sheikh Ahmed Al Nabhani, senior manager-human resources. He said that the Omanis occupied most of the positions in different departments of the company: Eighty-two candidates in the commercial division, 86 in flight operation division, 108 in service delivery and about 11 in human resources and administration. As per the approved plans, more Omanis would be recruited in the near future. The job announcements would be made by the company at the appropriate time, Times of Oman reported.
