Tunisian Higher Education Minister opens International Geographical Union Conference

The Tunisian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Lazhar Bououni opened here today the 31st Conference of the International Geographical Union.
About 1,000 specialists from 70 countries including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the four-day conference.
During the opening ceremony, the Tunisian Minister praised the efforts exerted by the International Geographical Union in enhancing the study of geographical problems.
The Saudi participants will present researches and studies relating to geographic issues.
