Yemeni Minister of State Qassim Al-Agam, who is also the Chairman of the National Committee for Demining, received $ 500,000 as the last payment of the third phase of the Kingdom's financial support to demining in Yemen. The financial support was handed over by Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Ali bin Mohammed Al-Hamdan during a reception held today by the Yemeni Minister of State. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Ambassador said that the payment will contribute to supporting Yemen to get rid of the remaining mines in some governorates of Yemen, pointing out that the Kingdom's financial support reached $ 4.5 million, including this payment. On his part, the Minister of State commended the Kingdom's continued support for Yemen in various fields, especially in the field of demining.
